1. Agreement to terms

By accessing this website or booking a programme with Keltris, a training provider based in Meru, Kenya, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site or book a session.

2. Use of the service and acceptable use

This site and Keltris's training programmes are provided for lawful, professional development purposes related to journalism and public-interest reporting. You agree not to use the site or the material provided within it for any unlawful purpose, and not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site's functioning.

3. Intellectual property

All written guides, reading frameworks, method notes and other materials provided as part of a Keltris programme remain the intellectual property of Keltris unless otherwise agreed in writing. Participants may use these materials for their own reporting work but may not redistribute or resell them without permission.

4. User obligations

Participants are responsible for applying the methods taught in accordance with applicable Kenyan law, including data protection and public records legislation. Keltris teaches lawful investigative methods and expects participants to conduct their own reporting responsibly and lawfully.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Keltris provides training and guidance in good faith but does not guarantee any particular reporting outcome, publication, or result from applying the methods taught. To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, Keltris's liability for any claim arising from use of this site or participation in its programmes is limited to the amount paid for the relevant programme.

6. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these terms or from use of this site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
